Ike and Lucy ran the Berthoud Pass Ski Area from 1977 thru 1987. They both hail from Iowa and loved being in the ski business. After Ike and Lucy retired they decided to get back to the Colorado mountains they love. In the fall of 2004 they built a small ski shop in Frisco. Then in March of 2005 they bought the Team Manager’s stores and closed the other store in the spring of 2006. Ike and Lucy love living in the mountains with Beth and her dog Honey.

Beth was born working in the ski business (having learned to ski and walk at the same time she loves the mountain life). When Beth began high school she started working for Bob and Mary Johnson in Keystone, Colorado, at Mountain View Sports. All through high school and college Beth worked for the Johnson family. After various other adventures in the field of social work Beth decided to move home and help run the family business. During the busy times of year you will find all sorts of the Garst’s family and friends helping out at the shops…
